Raelene Hall's Bio

Raelene Hall is a freelance writer living on an outback property in Western Australia. She has written numerous non-fiction articles for local, national and international magazines and newspapers as well as for Internet sites, on a wide variety of topics, including education, the outback life, communications, nature, spirituality, families, technology, animals and the environment.

Raelene was a regular columnist for the Midwest Times newspaper in WA for over five years and has self published a book of those newspaper columns. Her book is titled ‘Legitimate Bush Woman’ and is a tongue in cheek look at life as she sees it. As well as her book Raelene has had two children’s picture books published as electronic books.

Raelene is the voluntary editor of a quarterly magazine for an Australia wide voluntary organisation ‘The Isolated Children’s Parents’ Association of Aust Inc’ (www.icpa.com.au) and in 2007 also became its publisher, thus setting up her own small business from home.

Her writing inspiration is taken from her life as wife, mother, teacher, station hand, cook and voluntary worker on the million-acre cattle station she shares with her husband and their three children.
