Rob Cook's Tanami Trek

Accidentally Outback's inspirational hero Rob Cook is conquering the entire Tanami Track (plus a bit more) in his electric wheelchair.

Rob was left a quadriplegic after a severe helicopter accident while mustering on his home of Suplejack Station three years ago. But there's never a mountain too high for this former Australian bull riding champion, devoted husband, and dad of two.

With the support of his family and friends, Rob rode 730km along the Tanami from Suplejack to Alice Springs, to raise money to complete his Nuffield Scholarship, and to raise awareness of other rural people in wheelchairs. Here are the images of his journey...
